If you run out of the grove past Muswell Hill Primary school (head as if you're exiting the park onto Muswell Hill road) but rather than leaving the park continue past the school, down to what looks like a dead end....

It is very hilly but that's a good workout. The Parkland Walk is nice and flat and you get all the benefits of being in the countryside. You could also run to Hampstead Heath via Highgate. Great for trail running in...

Considering the park is very hilly, I'm glad that there are a large number of paths that allow for a flat run. The gravel path that leads into the park from Bedford Rd/South Terrace is good one.
