Sarah C Smoothie Recipes  Tribe

Contributorgold Sarah C Another one I randomly put together today which turned out great! I'm not sure if it's a smoothie or just thick juice but it tastes great and there is no added sugar!
Ingredients:
Watermelon pieces
1/4 cucumber
1 lime squeezed
makes a blender full

Contributorgold Sarah C I randomly put this together today and thought I'd share because it is now my absolute favorite smoothie and is extremely simple!
Ingredients:
1 papaya
1/4 cucumber
4 individual cups of your yogurt preference (I used fruit yogurt but I know a healthier substitution would be plain or greek)
Makes a half-blender-cup full

William R Smoothie Recipes  Tribe

William R My pre/post workout shake is:
1 cup nonfat milk,
handful of spinach,
½ banana,
Scoop of protein powder,
Scoop of ground flax seed,
2 scoops of frozen blue berries,
1 ½ cups of crushed ice.
Blend sill smooth.
I consume ½ a ½ hour before my workout, and the other half after my workout.

2 lg leafs of Kale
5-6 Fresh Strawberries
1 Med. Banana
1/2 Med. Fresh/Raw Beet
Handful of ice and a cup of water.
Yummy!!!

I have heard that. We have had it on sandwiches and in salads. My juicer has started collecting dust again. I want one of those smaller ones. Mine is an old monster that I hate cleaning:P

I had a juicer and ended up chucking it...to much hassle. I just use my blender. Mind you I'm on my 3rd one, but works quickly and just rinse it out and good to go.

I'm not too keen on putting chia seeds in my smoothies, because I'm scared of the texture once it will expand (yep - never tried it) - but have tried hemp seeds, and that is yummy! Better even than flax

Vieruszka K Smoothie Recipes  Tribe

Contributorgold Vieruszka K Pineapple banana smoothie (my favourite weekend breakfast :))
150g fresh pineapple
1 small banana
80g yogurt
1 spoon honey (if you have a really sweet pineapple you don't need this)

Mix everything and enjoy. :)

Fit Wasted . Smoothie Recipes  Tribe

Contributorsilver Fit Wasted . BANANA ALMOND SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS
-1 large banana (frozen)
-1 tablespoon of almond butter (see below)
-1 5.3 oz of vanilla greek yogurt
-1 tablespoon of flax seeds (ground)
-1 teaspoon of agave sweetener
-1 tiny drop of vanilla extract (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
-Cut banana into 1/2 inch pieces
-Combine all ingredients into blender
-Blend until smooth and pour into glass
-Top with a dash of flax seeds and chia seeds
-Enjoy!

Shelia B Smoothie Recipes  Tribe

Contributorgold Shelia B Kale Orange Banana Smoothie
1 orange peeled
1/2 cup water
1 leaf kale torn into pieces
2 ripe bananas peeled
Blend orange in a blender until mostly juicy, add the water and kale blend again on high until kale is liquefied, break the banana into chucks and add to the blender. Blend on low speed until the banana is incorporated. Increase speed to blend mixture into a pudding like mixture.
