Fiegel C Training for my first tri of the season in june. Any tips of your favorite training regiments? as of now I swim/bike bike/run swim/run 3-4 days a week. at about 1/2-3/4 the distance of the race. The other days I hit the gym or go for a longer than distance run swim bike.

The fees sure do add up. I am going to be doing a few duathlons later this summer/fall. My son also wants to join me. I can't really say no but it then costs me double.
Just getting started in this fitness thing. :) You might also want to check a used book store, Goodwill or that kind of store. I saw a few tri books for $5 last week.

It's pretty pricey. Ben Greenfield also has a weekly free podcast that has a ton of fitness and nutrition information.
