Ashley R I had a free session at my gym with a personal trainer, so I said why not take it, right? Wrong. I was in excrutiating pain for over a week. He never told me to stretch, and since I was a newbie, I didn't realize how important that is right before a workout. I couldn't stand up, sit down, walk or anything really for like 8 days. Luckily I take a stress management course on my campus, because that week was yoga week. I pressed on through the pain, and all the stretching from the yoga actually cured my problem. By that afternoon I was fine haha. Now I stretch every morning. Just a few basics. Best thing I ever did!

Thanks. I am not on any meds. I have asked them. The basics: more sodium, no hot showers, lay down when I start feeling dizzy. This morning I laid on the floor in the dressing room until it rose.

I would ask your cardiologist. Especially if your're on any type of drug.
I have a history of low blood pressure. In January I thought I was having a heart attack, but the episode was due to my blood pressure. After my stress test (which I completed :)) my blood pressure was 88/54.

I thought I was getting the stitch during my off-road half marathon this morning but it just stayed a dull ache. Now 11hrs later and obliques especially are really tender, could this be from stabilising myself on uneven ground? Was a lot of jump...
