2015....42 is approaching!! gave up smoking 6 years ago after being a 20/40 a day smoker for 18 years...started running in 2011 to keep fit and to raise money for Macmillan following the death of my Dad from Lung Cancer & COPD. Still wouldn't class myself as a "runner" but its my main fitness enjoyment...my best times so far are:

1K 3:58 2011
5K 23:40 2014
10K 52:00 2014
20K 1:52:55 2013
HM 1:59:36 2011

22.54K 2:11:09 2013 (my furthest ever run so had to put it down LOL)

Hoping to continue to improve my times and to cut down on the beer (my remaining vice!). Determined to increase bicep, tricep, chest this year and discover the elusive 6 pack....never too late!

Contributorgold Andy H Changed my diet in the last few weeks after re-starting gym and have just been eating fruit, salad, veg and fresh meat. Prior to this I have suffered with frequent upset stomachs and put it down to work stress and a few too many beers on a too regular basis. However, since the diet change have not had one bad stomach until tonight when had a microwave meal as got home too late. Now bloated and feel rough. Looks like new diet has more benefits than I realised. Still trying to cut down on the beers lol.

As fairly recently single it makes it equally difficult as once something is opened it needs using up....but feel a lot better for the change and never expected the side benefit...was just hoping for an AB to appear :)

Contributorgold Andy H Very nice to be back. Just tidied up my TS challenges and deleted all the archived ones, took some new ones. Rejoined the gym last week and due to start a 10 week training program next week. Ready to start again!!
