Catching up with holiday activity. Today started as a ride to explore the lake just up the road and ended up biking the beach all the way to whatuwhiwhi. Just me and my bike in my jandals and hoodie. Needed some lunch at half way then came back via the road. #hauoraforlife

Swimming with students and Ihi trialling new swimming strokes at Browns bay. After doing about two kms challenged the hinengaro (mind) to see if they could do another lap. And they did! So all up we swam 3 km which I haven't done for years!

Contributorgold Callie C Kia Ora Rose all the way from NZ, after reading yr blog I have now gone and read your Facebook page and online about a whole lot of other articles about the event you achieved. It is amazing what the human body can achieve when you commit to achieving something. Congratulations again. Would be a great project to write up into a book or maybe even your next adventure as you never know what seeds are planted in people who read it. Thanks again for sharing with the tribe.

Thank you Callie!! It was a wonderful adventure which I highly recommend! The problem is, it is quite addictive so I like your talk of "your next adventure". The questions is, what shall it be??

Ran up Hakirimatea again this time with 40 youth who were all connecting with the maunga (mountain) and matauranga (knowledge) provided. Practiced running up the stairs making as little sound as possible, and also in groups of five with one hand on the back of the person in front and keeping as a group.
