I started running last May when I decided to get healthy. Since then I have lost 55lbs.
Have had some set backs to my running goals (broken toe and pulled leg muscles), so I have been doing strength training in the meantime. Now just getting back to easing into running again.

Contributorbronze Caroline H I have been busy! I did up my running in distance, but less on frequency which actually seems to have helped my endurance.

Contributorbronze Caroline H Still nursing my IT band problem but it is getting better! Been doing lots of strength training. For some reason my left hand gets tingly doing pushups. That arm is considerably weaker than my right arm. Really need to go to chiropractor.

Contributorbronze Caroline H Had to buy a foam roller for my leg. I definitely have an IT issue. Can't run past 1 1/2 miles without it acting up! Really sucks....

Contributorbronze Caroline H Back to training 10k! My toe is much better and the pulled leg muscle seems to be healed as well. Lower back still troubles me as usual. I have been on a push up goal for 3 weeks now. Much stronger! I can feel the back and ab muscles working to help.
