First day of ankle rehab exercises after going to a new physio yesterday. I am to do these 6 days a week for two weeks and then return and try a treadmill run!

I did 30mins while the kids class was on and then over an hour with my Instructor. No other adults showed up, so I got 1 on 1 time. He nit-picked every little move, which was excellent. Great feedback.

My first day in the gym in three weeks after a back issue. Took it a bit easy, but covered all the usual exercises. Legs felt tight after the cycle on Sunday, but were ok by the end.

This was the Cycle For Jack, a local trust. I got a lift to the start in Dunboyne and found out that it was to be a group cycle lead by two cyclists. This was due to the cops blocking off various roads for us - easier to manage a group. We set off at a nich pace and got to Trim in less than an hour (31k), didn't feel that fast though. There was a water stop in Bolivor, which no one stopped at...and a food stop in Summerhill, 72k. I stopped and had coffee and topped off my water bottles. Even at this point we were still going at an average pace of over 30k. With about 20k left after the food stop I decided to go at my own pace and finished the cycle with 92.5k in 3hrs 07mins. After some protein drink I got back on the bike and cycled home, to make it up to 106k for the day.

Thanks @brenda if you had told me beforehand that I'd do it at that pace I wouldn't have believed you. But the group and the atmosphere kept me going!
