Non-running injury has kept me away from running/cycling or rowing for 4 months. Just getting back to them now (April). Also love adventure races and lifting heavy things, putting them down. Not interested in marathons, but enjoy HMs and possibly a 50k next year.

I did a shorter version of this route last year and was really short on energy from 30k onwards. Today I did about 10k extra and still have energy, even though I had a head wind for the first 28k. Putting it down to low carbs.Total of just over 65k.

Helping a friend build up some distance. Stopped the garmin in Phoenix Park and forgot to start it until we were in Blanchardstown, so we actually did over 50k. Not a biggie though.

Easy 5k-ish run round the hood. This being my 4th week back running I took it easy this week, only running three times. Legs were still stiff from yesterday's squats and deadlifts, but my "easy" pace is becoming easier. Great dusk run.
