Contributorgold Eoin O Some background first; our Kenpo system (ikku.ie) grades white, yellow, orange, purple, blue, green, brown, black...
As I'm going for green belt in 6 weeks, last night our instructor said, "Going from green belt to brown is like going from primary school to secondary school. Going from brown belt to black is like going from secondary school to college." Sounds ominous! Anyone gone through these levels and have tips to share?

Nope, I eat very few carbs, less than 50g a day, so I don't need them for energy.

Nice day for a cycle. Warm in the sunshine but chilly in the shade. By the end my toes and fingers were quite cold. Probably the last time this year I'll be cycling in a short sleeved t-shirt.
