2013 - Cycling, jogging, cross trainer and general fitness for this year. Main challenges are to do a 10K jog and run for an hour without stopping. May even try the damned plank again!

John H decided on a swim this morning rather than spin. I haven't been for a proper swim in years. 50 lengths non stop of breaststroke. felt quite pleased with myself. sitting at work smelling slightly of chlorine! Happy Wednesday.
John H 3 lots of spin classes this week. I am sure it is meant to get easier but man, I died today! May step on some scales soon. Started at 12 stone 6 back in March. Hoping I am somewhat lighter now. Will update when I 'find' some scales. ........
John H Gave myself the weekend off any activity (except walking the dog), but back to spin first thing this morning. Good start to the week.

John H The smiling assassin was back kicking our butts in spin this morning. That lady is obviously seriously fit, us mere mortals just fade away in comparison. Good start to the day though.
John H 5k on the treadmill this morning, slow slow slow, few weights, steam room, jacuzzi. Ready for the rest of the day. Worked off some of last nights beers....

John H I have been a good boy! I joined a gym about 4 weeks ago and have managed 2 - 3 sessions a week of pre work SPIN classes. Up and out for classes about 7am. Almost proud of myself. This morning the nice instructor lady has been dubbed the smiling assassin; as she happily tore us apart!
John H 50 sit ups last night. Nowt else, but have been doing these for about 3 weeks now on most days.Long way to go to achieve decent stomach, but happy to keep at it.

Early Morning Cross Trainer again (6.30 is early for me) - 20 mins but only just over 7km.
John H Epic fail. I have realised I don't even know how to do a handstand. Didn't achieve much last night on this one. May have to get my daughter to teach me how to do a handstand!
