My standard workouts involve running, pushups, chinups, and or skipping. I like to fish, hike and camp in my spare time. Working construction 60 plus hours a week doesnt allow for much "spare" time.

Jamie C There is no question that my body is more capable than at any point in my life, and no point has my mind been this strong to keep me pushing through my comfort zones. When I'm tired I find my running pace get quicker, and when the muscles feel like they want to catch fire I'm adding more reps. I don't even notice it happen. I almost hate to complete it because I am far from being done working on it. A scheduled Spartan Race this year, and a planned half marathon will be my crowning achievements. I might have been thinner when I was 18, but nowhere near the level of muscle and endurance at 41, and no where near the fitness of mind to go and do it!
Alex D encouraged this.
Jamie C Week 2. Two 5k runs , a 4.5 k hill run, a 4.5k hill walk, three calisthenics sessions and 2 kettlebells sessions.
Jamie C Just registered for my first Spartan Sprint. Very excited and looking forward to any advice you folks might have!
Jamie C Week 1 only one day off....32 km running or walking, three days of calisthenic routines, kettlebells, 3680 calories burned...woohoo!
Jamie C Took a day off from running or working out. It's driving me nuts. But is likely a good idea.
Jamie C 52 minutes of hard (for me) 3/1 intervals today (hard is a subjective term) Will pull off 45 min nonstop inside of the next 7 days.
Oh...found the guide to help....thank you !
I'll try that, is there a spot somewhere on tribesports to click on that will accept it or allow me to search my files? Thanks!
