I workout with a trainer a couple days a week and am trying to find my first 5K to run sometime this year. I'm not a very good runner and don't know how to breathe well, but I'm working on it.

Contributorbronze Sandra M Went to see the trainer last night, and although it was a great workout I didn't feel too bad this morning. Got up at 4am and hit the gym before work. But, Let me tell ya...I'm feeling it now. Guess that means it was a great workout between yesterday and today. Have a great day everyone.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I'm doing good, very good. Been working out like crazy and doing well with my new trainer. My motivation is definitely back. Was volunteering at the USO on Saturday so couldn't get online. Hope you're doing well also.

Contributorsilver Christopher O Just keep at it and it and the running will come. I could not run 1 k in Feb now my farthest is 18k. Logging it helps me stay motivated.

Thank you Christopher...I hope it gets better, I"ve been trying for a year now and only can get up to 3 miles. I have a hard time with the breathing part of it, everything else is fine. And, I don't have asthma, but sometimes it sounds like I do. LOL By the way, where is Milton, CA? Is that Canada or California?
