Susan B Thanks for the encuragement, Peter! :-)
I am a runner. I started running about 6 years ago, got hooked and haven't looked back. In my 40's but in the best shape of my life. Played baseball, basketball and volleyball. From NY but living in the Midwest now.
2013 Goals & Resolutions: 1) Complete my first 26.2 and 2) Get 3 friends to commit to a fitness regimen of 2% of their day or 30 minutes 3) Take my avocation of running to another level; vocation, social contribution 4) Get some order around fitness program 5) Run event with family
Not a quote, but words that I fall back on quite often:
"To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. Number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special." - Jimmy Valvano
