Have spent the last 3 years experimenting and finding out what works for me, have tried everything from calorie counting and workout DVD's to vegetarianism and running 6 days a week. I've found a great balance now and am working strength and cardio at a fun, sustainable level and I've ended up on a paleo based diet. During the last year I became certified with ACT as a personal trainer. Didn't do it for a career, just did it because I wanted to understand what I was doing so I could make the most educated decisions regarding my health. The last year was really just fine tuning what I'm going to do for the rest of my life, or at the very least the foreseeable future. I'm down 30+ pounds and have finally gotten into single digit fat percentage which is one of my very final fitness goals. 2013 is going to be maintaining my achievements and finding new goals to reach for, I've signed up for a huge number of races in 2013, most of them are firsts for me. 3 obstacle races, 3 5K's, a 10K, a sprint triathalon, a full triathalon, and coming up really quickly in May a half marathon.
