Running kept me sane until a back injury meant that I can't run anymore :(
I'm making do with yoga and getting back into swimming, but being in the water doesn't match the high of running for me. Still, keep on keeping on, eh?

Sinéad M 63.58km today... which means that I swam more than last year's total within 2 months this year. Yeay me :D
(Of course, I should really take the pedal off the metal because I'm making life very challenging for myself if I take this challenge again next year)
Sinéad M ha! checked my total this morning and I've done 61.58km so far this year... only a couple of splashes short of my target! I'll get in the pool and smash this one later today :D
Sinéad M I started a 3 month coaching programme yesterday (3 days per week for 12 weeks) and it turns out that despite the compliment 2 weeks ago, my front crawl needs a lot of work. The good news is that even after only 2 sessions, I'm breaking it down and I can already begin to notice where my stroke can be improved. Looking forward to being brilliant by the end of the 3 months!

Sinéad M I'm drifting off-target on this one... Week 1 (26/01-01/02): 7.2km; Week 2 (02-08/02): 8.0km ; Week 3 (09-15/02): 8.08km; Week 4 (16-22/02): 8.12km. Total: 31.4km. I'll lose the weak 7.2k when this rolls over to next week, so a serious effort this week might be enough to get me over the line :)
Sinéad M i'm hovering so close to the target on this one... seems like i'll need to do something cosmic to push over the last hump here!
