I absolutely love to run! I've done 3 half-marathons so far and am already signed up for 2 more halfs and possibly my first full marathon. I joined Team in Training so I can fundraise for LLS while I train for the San Diego marathon, and I am loving life and can't wait to see what the next year holds for me! I feel like I really flourished last year, broke out of a shell and stretched my wings and took off in ways I never even thought possible. I don't look much different than I did a year ago, but I feel amazing. Like I always say, I don't have a runner's body, but I have a runner's heart, and that is what really matters.
One of my goals is to run 1109 miles in 2013, because my Commitment Day 5K bib number was 1109. Seemed like a good number to shoot for!

Karen M Hi Stephonie, thanks for the follow! Good luck in your new ventures...I started running when I was 41, so my advice to you as far as getting into a fitness routine is figure out what you like to do and start slow, and most of all have fun!
