Amanda E I definitely recommend the Tough Mudder, or the Warrior dash, there is a massive sense of achievement when you cross the finish, also everybody helps each other along the way.
I have always been active but have stepped up to push myself further to be in the best shape of my life and would like to do a 1/2 marathon, marathon, a Tough Mudder, and various sports I have not tried. :) :)

I am working on endurance at the moment however, in preparation for a marathon so even on my "fast" days I seldom break a 9 min/mile....My stamina is increasing though.....
