Contributorbronze Will H Hi All, check out the latest episode in the speedriding series I am doing this winter. This one was filmed over 2 weeks in Val D'isere and involves a lot of proximity flying down/next to cliff bands. Next up we are staying in a working monastery above the St Bernard pass and touring/speed riding lines from there. Should be a super interesting trip as its completely cut off in the winter and we will get to see what life has been like in the mountains there for hundreds of years as I hear very little has changed (hopefully heating has been added...). Anyway, here it is! Episode 2 - Dropping cliffs in Val D'isere - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QonXzEfvss4&feature=youtu.be

Awesome! I think I watched a Ski Sunday episode about that monastery! I recall they made some really good cheese there...bring some back for me! One day I will be as good a speedrider as you... :)

Contributorbronze Will H The speedriding show rolls on! So far Chamonix, Courmayeur, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Megeve, Val Thorens, Courchevel, Lat Tania, Meribel, Val D'isere, Tignes and more. Flying conditions have been amazing for this time of year but we could do with some more snow now, looks like there is some on the way tonight and Monday which is good. There is GB's and GB's of footage to edit but heres a tiny clip taken from a friends phone of me buzzing a cliff in Courchevel last week! http://t.co/yyx6V2Rj

Contributorbronze Will H Here is episode 1 in the series that we will be doing over the winter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxGQ6u2qUoA&feature=youtu.be. Filmed over only 1 day this week in La Clusaz which is in the Aravis range. The freezing level went up super high last week and La Clusaz is only at 1100M so there was a lot of sitting inside while it rained but it all paid off when it got cold on Sunday and DUMPED. Next vid will hopefully be next week when we hit Courmayeur and Chamonix for some Speedflying. Hoping to get a line in from the top of The Aiguille du Midi.

Very exciting and daunting at the same time! I will keep the updates coming in with regular snow condition updates, videos of what we have been flying off/skiing through!

Contributorbronze Will H Here is a clip of a line we flew in Snowdonia recently. Incredible views and weather. If you are planning to fly in Snowdonia make sure you contact the guys at Snowdonia Sky Sports (http://www.snowdoniaskysports.co.uk) as they will be able to tell you whether or not you will need to issue a NOTAM (notice to airmen) for the line your thinking of hitting. It is highly likely that you will as the RAF use Snowdonia as a training ground so there is a lot of activity (Jets/choppers). If anyone is interested in flying the line we hit in this clip, send me a line as I have written a full guide on the climb up, parking, take off and landing etc... Here it is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLU_Pmzn7aY

Contributorbronze Will H Hello All! Thought I would post some of the Speed riding/flying vids we have been putting together over past six months or so. The first one is taken from a couple of days we did in La Clusaz in the middle of last season, some epic lines to be had out there. we were super lucky with the weather which was full sun both days and zero wind. Hope you like the cheesy track as well! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4KBl7osEHM Will post some more clips later, if you want to get regular updates subscribe to my YouTube Channel (Willhkite)!

Contributorbronze Will H Was paragliding at Devils Dyke, East Sussex yesterday. Weather was a bit all over the place and had a couple of partial canopy collapses in some rough air but still got a couple of nice flights in!

It's all based on our mindset, Lupita. I chose not to lash out (I confess I used to have a very short temper until some years ago - hehehe). There are always alternatives. :)

My week: I told a relative I wasn't coming to her x-mas party and I was faced with a mouth foaming fropping fit. She was hyperventilating and asking why do I hate her. I told her we just couldn't make it, it was nothing personal. So she calls e/o in the family asking why we hate her, still hysterically crying...She FBed me about it and came to me in person with a crying fit over it.......I just calmly apoligized and reassured her it was nothing she did and tried to tell her not to let my actions or anyone elses dictate her self worth. I no longer cater to anyones emotions.....also this week we have experienced a major financial set back with our business. It's christmas with 3 kids to buy for and I am not worried at all. I'm not materialistic and don't care anything about what is expected to be given this holiday. We painted pinecones and made gifts from clay. We have food and we have each other. We have lived wisely in the past so when a set back arises it's nothing to freak out over. Life is good and gets sweeter everyday.

Have been helping someone very close to me with this as well to help her overcome disappointment with other people's actions.
