I love trying new sports and am slowly but surely getting more and more active. This year I ran my first half marathon and cycled London2Paris, unsupported with Team TS; need to get planning the next Challenge now!! love Bikram yoga, cycle to work most days...
Long retired from team sports, I'm now trying to venture into solo sports for two main reasons; to reach (and then maintain) a decent level of fitness, and for the pure enjoyment of a fresh challenge!
I love being active and meeting new people to play sports with. I'm open to trying new sports as long as you're willing to accept a beginner. I used to run the 4x100 relay in college.
I did judo for several years, stop and want to do it again.
I run, trying my first marathon (SF, July 31), with yoga as a nice counterbalance.
I started running in 2009 just to get fit. In 2010, I ran my first 5k and discovered that I really like to race. No, that's not right, I love to race. Now I am climbing, mostly indoor, twice per week too.
I am a dedicated swimmer. I kitesurf as much as I can, may be 3 times a week average. I surf mainly in the winter and I occasionally run, although it used to be my main sport and did a lot of street races.
