It is very lightweight and perfect for rainy days running, without getting too hot too.
The jacket is everything I was after. It is nice and light and comfortable in the right places. I have only been out in light / medium rain so far and I haven't gotten wet yet! What it is like in heavy / moonsoon I will have to wait and see but nothing makes me think it won't hold out. I did have to order one size bigger than normal to get the arm length, but other than that it is spot on.
I really love the 2-in-1 aspect of this jacket (let’s be honest, no one over the age of 22 would wear it bolero style??!). I have run up to 75 mins wearing this. I like the neat fit on the arms, I love the colour. I had to take off the top the other day and it fits okay into the gilet pocket but a bit bulky and so for seriously long runs, you’d get annoyed with it (I only had ~5km more to complete that day). It’s good in the cold for wind protection and rain protection seems good too. The hood is the issue - it billows and flaps behind you if it’s a bit breezy and you have it down. Unfortunately, there’s no wee pouch to stow it away in the collar. You need to tuck it in down your neck, really. When I have run with the hood up, for warmth, it also flaps a bit and fills with air as there’s no adjustable cord. I ended up tucking the front into my buff which worked well. All in all, I’m reasonably glad I bought it as it’s funky and performs fine. I am a recreational runner tho. If you trot out 2-4 times a week to get maybe 5-15kms in, then this will be fine. Really good amateurs/professionals probably know of a better piece of kit!
The layers are perfect for running allowing you to take off the upper layer easily.
Really like this jacket, especially as it can be worn three different ways. I would give it 5 stars with addition of the following: 1. A toggle on the hood so it stays up when you run 2. Reflective elements
